As a member of the HDH team, you will be part of a self-funded unit with over 900 staff employees, 1,000 student employees, and an annual operating budget of $250 million, providing housing and dining services to over 20,000 students, faculty, staff, and their families. The Custodial Operations Administrator for East Campus is independently responsible for the administration and direct management of custodial operations for seven properties. This includes establishing and implementing policy, budget development, resource management, and ensuring quality customer service. The incumbent is responsible for the development of long and short range planning for assigned Housing Dining Hospitality (HDH) facilities as it relates to the provision of custodial services, the coordination of annual summer renovation projects, year-round apartment turns, emergency response, and special projects.
The Custodial Operations Administrator receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees. Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
Strong experience in administration and management.

Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a busy, service oriented office atmosphere with frequent interruptions, varied work assignments, and fluctuating priorities while meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of carpet cleaning schedule coordination and proper equipment use and maintenance.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $63,800 - $111,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $30.56 - $53.45
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
